ABOUT ME


My journey – Love your Lioness

I’ve always used movement as medicine. It’s how I found balance, energy, and clarity.
But twenty years ago, in my very first yoga class, something profound happened.
As I lay in Shavasana, my teacher guided us into stillness — and for the first time, I truly felt myself. A sense of peace and connection I didn’t know I was missing.

That moment became the beginning of my journey inward — first as a yoga student, later as a teacher.
I explored yoga, breathwork, and meditation, discovering how each practice can heal, ground, and open the heart.

Life brought its own lessons — immigrating to New Zealand, creating a family, facing loss, and walking through change and challenge.
There were times I tried to stay busy to avoid the pain — more work, more movement, more doing.
But eventually, I learned that real healing begins in stillness. When we breathe, pause, and look within.

Today, yoga, meditation, and mindful movement are my compass — tools that help me listen, heal, and grow.
Simhi Yoga was born from that experience — to offer women the same tools to reconnect with their bodies, hearts, and souls.

It’s a space for women who give so much of themselves to finally come home to their own energy.
To be brave enough to look inward, to heal, and to remember who they are.

Because every woman carries an inner lioness — courageous, graceful, intuitive, and strong.
Through yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork, we awaken her — and from that place, life begins to flow again.
