In our second week together, we transition from the gentleness of Ahimsa into the clarity of Satya (Truthfulness). This class is an invitation to strip away expectations and move with total integrity. Instead of forcing your body into a "perfect" shape, we will practice finding our Honest Edge—that sweet spot where we are challenged but still breathing truthfully.
Breathwork (Pranayama): We begin with Ujjayi Breath (Victorious Breath). This audible, ocean-like breath acts as our "truth detector"—if the sound fades or becomes jagged, it’s a sign to back off and return to honesty.
Seated & Table Top Warm-up: Gentle seated movements leading into Spinal Waves and Thread the Needle to clear tension and prepare the body for deeper listening.
The Circle of Joy: A flowing movement sequence to open the heart and shoulders, moving with a sense of authentic expression.
The Strength: Sun Salutations with Warrior Variations. We will explore the power of Warrior II and the surrender of Humble Warrior, practicing the courage to stay present even when the legs get tired.
Cool Down & Savasana: A deep release for the nervous system, ending with a Guided Satya Meditation to help you reconnect with your inner truth before stepping off the mat.
The Goal: To move away from "performance" and into "practice," leaving the mat feeling aligned, honest, and strong.
