Grounded Strength and Release (45 Minutes)

This 45-minute vinyasa class is a beautiful, strong, and flowing practice designed to build heat while staying deeply grounded.

We begin on the mat in Savasana, allowing the body to settle before moving into Yogic Breath to anchor awareness in the breath and lower body. Gentle movements such as knees to chest, half happy baby, and spinal twists invite early release and create a sense of safety before gradually building strength.

As the practice unfolds, we move through a steady flow — warming up with Cat–Cow, Plank, and Down Dog, then opening the hips through Low Lunge and dynamic Lizard variations. Strength and stability are cultivated in modified Warrior II, flowing into Warrior II, Reverse Warrior, and extended side body work, supported by mindful transitions through Chaturanga.

Core work and grounding postures such as Boat Pose, Squat, and Side Plank build inner strength while maintaining a connection to the breath and the earth beneath you. The class closes with a supported Shoulder Stand, allowing energy to settle before resting fully in Savasana.

Throughout the practice, attention is drawn to Apana Vayu — the downward-moving energy of release and grounding — helping you let go with awareness while staying present and embodied.

Expect to leave feeling strong, warm, centred, and deeply rooted, with a calm mind and an open body.
